Who we are

Keyday ("we", "us", "our") is a product designed to help Australian home buyers navigate the buying process. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

What we collect

When you use Keyday, we may collect:

  • Account information: email address and password (stored securely by Supabase)
  • Buyer profile: your state, budget range, buyer type, and buying status
  • Property details: addresses, price guides, and agent information you enter
  • Journey data: task completion, stage notes, and documents you upload
  • Contract documents: files you upload for analysis (processed and deleted from storage after analysis)
  • Usage analytics: page views and feature usage (collected via PostHog)

How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and personalise the Keyday service
  • Generate contract analysis using AI (Anthropic Claude) — your uploaded documents are sent to Anthropic for processing and are not retained by them beyond the request
  • Provide state-specific guidance and offer recommendations
  • Understand how the product is used so we can improve it

Third-party services

We use the following services to operate Keyday:

  • Supabase — authentication and data storage
  • Anthropic (Claude) — AI-powered contract analysis
  • PostHog — product analytics
  • Vercel — hosting

Each service has its own privacy policy. We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase with row-level security. Uploaded contract documents are deleted from storage immediately after analysis. We use HTTPS for all data in transit.

Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Make a complaint about how we handle your information
